Subject-wise tips

  • Practise calculations without a calculator for speed.

Reasoning

  • Learn one clean method per question type (for example, a seating-arrangement grid) and stick to it.
  • Practise puzzles untimed first, then add a 90-second limit per puzzle.
  • Skip lengthy puzzles in the first pass during a mock; return to them with the time left.

General Awareness

  • General Awareness carries the largest share of questions, so give it daily time.
  • Cover history, geography, polity, economy, science, sports and current events with a quiz-based routine.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Ignoring the one-third negative marking and guessing randomly.
  • Memorising facts without understanding the topics they come from.
  • Not checking the exact post-wise requirements in the notification.

RRB NTPC preparation strategy

RRB NTPC 2026 Preparation Strategy

Indian Railways mein non-technical posts par kaam karna lakho yuvaon ka sapna hota hai. RRB NTPC ek aisi pariksha hai jisme 12th pass aur Graduate dono apply kar sakte hain. Lekin dhyan rahe, isme negative marking aur high cutoff aapke liye chunauti ban sakte hain. Isliye ek sateek strategy ka hona bahut zaroori hai.

  • CBT 1 aur CBT 2 ka Fark Samjhein: Dono ka syllabus lagbhag ek jaisa hai, lekin CBT 2 mein questions ka level aur competition badh jata hai. Shuruat se hi concept ki gehraai mein jaakar padhai karein.
  • General Awareness (Highest Weightage): NTPC mein GA ka section sabse bada hota hai. Current Affairs ke saath-saath Indian History, Geography, aur Static GK (Railways Special) par zyada focus karein.
  • Mathematics (Arithmetic & Advanced): Railway Exams mein Arithmetic (Percentage, Profit & Loss, Ratio) ka dabdaba rehta hai. Formulas aur calculation tricks ko rozana revise karein taaki waqt bache.
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning: Isme aap full marks la sakte hain. Coding-Decoding, Syllogism, aur Blood Relations jaise topics ki itni practice karein ki sawal dekhte hi logic samajh aa jaye.
  • Previous Year Papers (Railway Pattern): RRB apne questions ke pattern ko aksar repeat karta hai. Pichle 10 saalon ke NTPC aur Group D ke papers solve karne se aapko real exam feel milegi.
  • Mock Test aur Accuracy: NTPC mein 90 minutes mein 100/120 sawal karne hote hain. Negative marking se bachne ke liye sirf wahi sawal attempt karein jisme aap 100% sure hon.
  • Railway Specific GK: Railway Budget (ab jo Union Budget ka hissa hai), Indian Railway ka itihas, aur zones ke headquarter se jude sawal zaroor padhein.

RRB NTPC 2026 un logon ke liye hai jo mehnat aur sabr ke saath apne lakshya ki taraf badhte hain. Railway ki naukri na sirf suvidhaayein deti hai balki ek garv ka ehsaas bhi karati hai. Consistent rahein, mock tests dete rahein aur apne sapno ko haqiqat mein badlein.
